Today, I was hit by a car. My sister ran to see if her phone I was carrying in my purse was okay. She screamed at me while I lay in the street because I was so dumb, and that I couldn't even watch for cars. Her screen was cracked. I had to call 911 for myself. FML

The sister is a major bitch no matter what. If my brother dived in front of a car deliberately while holding my Xbox 360 (which I spent practically all the money I have on), I would still be way more concerned about him. It doesn't matter if the OP wasn't being careful or not- she still got really hurt.

wow i know i directed the "what is wrong with you comment" to #4 but that was before I read some more of these, for all the people saying YDI or no sympathy you are really screwed up in your thinking process and need serious help, did he ever say he didnt look both ways? no, maybe there was a sharp turn nearby that he couldnt see around and nothing was coming that he could see, but as he walked out on the street it came speeding around the turn and hit him, so maybe you shouldnt be so fast to judge as everyone on the comment board speaks against on a FML where a Christian speaks against homosexuality or anything else to that respect, and #30 i dont even know what to say to you, get help if that wasnt a joke

Of course the sister is a twat, but where is the fun in seeing that posted 100 times in a row along with a few spelling corrections? Most of the responses to these FMLs are pure *SNARK*. Which is precisely why the so-called Christians are beated down and why inevitably we go down the gay marriage trail on 90% of these things. And, for that matter, most of the FMLs are either pure bullshit or some self-involved asshole's one-sided interpretation of an event in their life. I don't think it matters if the OP looked before crossing. The point is the sister was more concerned with her cellphone than her siblings well being. Let's hope some other family member is helping you with your recovery. Someone should teach your sister to be less materialistic and self centered.
