Agreeed. Some things are just more important than your health.
YDI for thinking that just because your in pain you need to go to the hospital. Ask for Tylenol or Advil, and let them watch the JETS/Bengals Game, or Cowboys/Eagles Game, whichever was on when you thought you "had" to go to the hospital. FYParents life for having a whiney child....
Nah, it was probably the Packers-Cardinals game...and if that's the case, then definitely FYL OP. Packer fans are the epitome of no-class scumbags...they even make RAIDERS fans look like saints, they're that bad.
To post #133: Wow, you sound extremely ignorant. Who are you to assume that they're even Packer fans? If you're going to make such a statement, at least try to make yourself look somewhat educated.
I noticed there are different reply strings for different people. The intelligent people who sympothize for OP were below. Redneck monkeys are down here. KIDDING! But seriously, OP could have had a really bad problem.
ur parents love u
Yeah right..
lmao. you parents really love you just haven't .. shown it yet xD
and yet you could still write this fml...
Twinklestar you got shutdown so bad. That's for trying to and failing to succeed in your own debate you ugly person.
My own debate? I just commented that the OP was most likely wasting time(which no one has actually yet given a good reason why it's likely they weren't). That's hardly a debate... And shut down how exactly? What about my reasoning do you not agree with? I said the OP was most likely wasting time that could be better spent on people who really need it. What about this post suggests they needed to be in the emergency room? It wasn't an accident or anything serious enough for the OP to add to the FML to prove his parents were in the wrong, which they would have done if it had been. Dick.
the FML is not that he had something serious, the FML is that his parents didn't care enough to take his pain seriously IN CASE he had something serious. if your child was on the ground, unable to move, in agonizing pain, would you be like "go over there and be quiet! the game's on!" and it's not "wasting time" to make sure your child is okay. i hope to the good heavens that you never have children.
I have a kid, and when she hops about after stubbing her toe saying her leg is broken when it's quite blatantly not and claiming she needs to go to hospital do you know what I do? I don't waste the ER's time with something that I know isn't serious. If the OP was in that much pain, they would've called an ambulance. They obviously weren't, and they hadn't had an accident. Rather than expecting their parents to wait around for hours in an ER(for something which sounds like amounted to nothing), they could manage waiting a short time for their parents to take them.
Here is your reply to why it isn't a waste of time if you are determined to need a reason. I often have crippling pains that leave me unable to move without being sick and the doctors have been unable to find the cause of them. If the OP did eventually make it to the ER they may not have put why they had the pain because they either A) don't feel like the whole world needs to know or B) the doctors were unable to figure out what was wrong. If the latter is the case they may be stuck living with this pain the rest of their life but even if they didn't find out what was happening it is still good they went to the doctor just to make sure nothing serious was wrong
It sounds like your kid is quite young to react that way to a stubbed toe. There is a big difference between a child overreacting to a stubbed toe (a pain you knew the cause of) and an older person literally being unable to move. If you walked into a room and your child was literally unable to move for no apparent reason would you just tell them to suck it up?
She's probably younger than the OP, yes, but that doesn't mean the OP isn't a complete hypochondriac. A lot of teenagers complain of pain they say prevents them from moving. Not even half of those are bad enough to be wasting ER time.
Is your name Colt McCoy?
how dare you try to interrupt the viewing of a football game!
Did you wake up unable to move and in agonizing pain? I guess you should count your lucky stars that your parents were able to move away from the TV to tell you they couldn't bring you to the hospital. So I'm guessing it wasn't anything serious seeing as you're already online posting a FML...

when I broke my collar bone, and was screaming in agony, asking my dad to drive me to hospital, my dad told me "to stop complaining, nothings wrong, and besides, I'm sending an e-mail" this man is supposed to be a fully trained emergency responder. So I feel your pain.
Your parents sure do love you.
