Today, I was in agonizing pain and couldn't move. My parents said they couldn't take me to the ER until the football game on TV was over. FML

when I broke my collar bone, and was screaming in agony, asking my dad to drive me to hospital, my dad told me "to stop complaining, nothings wrong, and besides, I'm sending an e-mail" this man is supposed to be a fully trained emergency responder. So I feel your pain.

this happened to me once, not the parents not responding part, but the waking up in agony. turns out I had a massive cyst/ mass of endometrial scar tissue on an ovary, which was causing extreme ( i mean like, can't sit up in bed) hip and leg pain. i was 21 at the time. its scary when you're young and have no explanation for an extreme pain; mine went on like that for over a month,, with doctors just drugging me so i could walk (with a cane) before anyone figured out the ovary thing and I had my ovary/fallopian tube removed. when the surgeon touched it, it exploded, as it would have inside me had it been left alone. poor op. people don't take young folks' health or pain very seriously.

my mom did that when I broke my arm except she wouldn't go because wednesday is a crowded day at the er so she waited till sunday
