Today, I was in agonizing pain and couldn't move. My parents said they couldn't take me to the ER until the football game on TV was over. FML

when I broke my collar bone, and was screaming in agony, asking my dad to drive me to hospital, my dad told me "to stop complaining, nothings wrong, and besides, I'm sending an e-mail" this man is supposed to be a fully trained emergency responder. So I feel your pain.

why is it "really obvious these parents are ****** stupid?" How do we know the op isn't a chronic hypochondriac? Some people claim to never feel good a single day in thier lives, but thier always healthy. Other people work through actual pain day after day and never say a word. Anyone wana bet what end of the scale the OP stands on?

most parents are twats, in this persons case, when she can rip out their spines so they can see how painful it is and then not do anything about it for 5 weeks and wait for them to die

I would've crawled over to the television and rip out the cable, telling my parents to grow the **** up and that they need to straighten out their priorities. They're parents now and need to act like it. They can always just watch a re-run of that crap. Believe me, I've been in pain before and it turned out to be something serious that made me end up in the hisptial for 5 weeks. It could be serious for you too.
