Today, I was in spanish class, having a debate about the death penalty. When I went to make a point, I meant to say "La pena de muerte", which means "The death penalty". I said, "La pene de muerte". Turns out that means, "The penis of death". FML

That is hilarious and awesome! I wish I could have been there! Once, in Japanese, a classmate was trying to describe an elephant as 'big.' He ended up saying there was big rape. This sort of thing also reminds me of German with night vs. naked, lol.

hahahahahahahahahahahzahaha! freudian slip! whats on your mind ;)

Oh my God. I can't stop laughing at that. Priceless. hahahahaha

Shouldn't it be El Pene? I would hate to think the penis is a feminine word. You should be let off the hook.

It is el pene, but Spanish also has words like la verga that mean the same thing. The female counterpart also has words like el coño.

Not really FYL. But it definitely made me laugh!

I have a calculus teacher that every time he tries to say "equation" it comes out "erection" and he never knows why everyone is laughing

This reminds me of the AIDS pandemic...

Ha that reminds me of this one time, for a spanish project in which we had to design a fake conservation program for an animal species to "expand our vocabulary." My group and I came up with the idea for a "Save the Pókémon" campaign, and made a poster that said "Necesito coger todos!" for "Gotta catchem' all!" We did the presentation and our teacher and a couple of students looked around awkwardly, before she came over to us and whispered "You guys know 'coger' means uh . . . to *screw* . . . right?"

Coger doesn't mean screw. Well,at least not where I live. And yeah Spanish is our first language. Haha

Someone's been listening to Vio-Lence, I see.
