This was mine, just made this account to explain. I was walking home at about 2 in the morning from a night out, and these three guys just walked up demanding everything. I had been drinking so I wasn't going to say yes, and you know the rest. Thank God no one was there.

Somewhat simplistic... "oh but I have a gun so I cannot be robbed". If you had a gun, then the muggers will have guns too. So that would be three guns pointing at you and your gun still in your pocket. Now, since you seem to favor free gun use and I assume you think you are McClaine in the movies the obvious thing to do here is to pull your gun and in a spectactular gunfight you maimed or killed the muggers (your preference) and got celebrated as a local hero.
