Today, I was on the phone with my little sister as she explained that all these guys like her now that she's so skinny and beautiful. My mom must have overheard me tell my sister that at least I was a cuter child, because my mom laughed and said, "Yeah right, we had to buy you fat kid diapers." FML

Every single day my sister, who is older than me by 3 1/2 years, tells me that she is skinnier and much more talented than I am. I think that she would deserve it if my mom told her they'd had to buy her fat kid diapers. She was kind of fat, once, so I don't feel too bad pointing it out whenever she says how much skinnier she is than I am. I think she says that because now I'm losing weight and getting prettier, and her self-esteem is going down. So why don't *you* get some self-esteem, so then you won't feel like you need to say you were cuter than her when she finally gets to say, "Hell yes! Guys like me now because I worked hard as hell to lose weight and look better!" Let her be happy. I'll definitely say YDI.

YDI. Your sister put work into losing weight and was proud of it. Instead of being happy for her, or maybe trying to lose weight yourself, you try to put her down by saying ''at least I was a cuter baby'', then promptly get what you deserve.

Or, F her life because the sister was being really obnoxious about it by, say, rubbing it in the OP's face about how now all the boys like the sister now. It's not always about how someone is sharing because they're happy and proud of it. Sometimes they do it to be cruel. Of course, since the OP is fat, it must be their fault and they deserve it because they aren't happy to hear all about how their sister is getting tons of attention and is so much more beautiful now, and aren't motivated to go out and lose their own weight.

I don't think she meant it the way you are taking it...I don't think she mean cuter as in she was comparing herself to her sister I think she meant relatively cuter than she is now....plus her sister didn't say anything about working to lose weight.....so you either read wayyyyy to much into it or are just a complete and total moron.

This is a FAIL on your Mom's side. Not only for insulting you like that but also for letting it happen in the first place. To a certain age, it's one hundred percent the parents' fault when their kid is overweight.
