#12 thank you :)
If you are reaching out, trying to pull off your cable box and modem, I think you may be doing it wrong.
You have an OPTION. When I got it done, they did the tv and I dd the comp myself.
foshizzle7: the analog to digital switch was only for over-the-air television. It did not affect cable, so if you already had cable you don't have to change your cable box because of this transition. Besides, a lot of cable companies already had digital channels for years before the OTA TV switch. Then again, Comcast may be slow in adopting digital cable channels, or the OP may have just upgraded to digital channels (requiring a new cable box either way), or a number of other reasons. Somewhat offtopic, it seems that the digital channels that I can pick up OTA are much crisper than on cable (I used to have Cox cable TV). One time when I was watching King of the Hill on cable, I found it also OTA, and the cable version looked "smudgey" in comparison to the crisp lines on digital TV. The cable version looked like a second-generation copy from analog OTA TV.
YDI for bro getting directtv
you deserve it because you went with comcast

So....you fell and pulled your modem and cable box down to the floor? Is that all? If you didn't break/ruin anything...sit there and pop the bubbles, then get up and clean up your mess then put everything back on the desk or whatever you had it on. Then what you should do is stop whining about falling on your bum.
"Today, I pulled down a cable box from where I had placed it. I then picked it up and put it back. FML" Really? Your life is so fragile that you consider this an FML?
