I've snagged one of the blades of the razor on my fingernail once, causing it to rip partly off.
see, that's an FML. ouch. been there.
Well, i guess if you were leaning in, or just, had your head bent down for some reason when you heard the noise, and moved your head whiiiile the rasor was in the wrong spot. then i guuueesss it could happen. i definitley can see you having cut off part of your hair though, its more likely.
are all of you people retarded the OP is saying that he/she was shaving his/her armpit and turned. The razor got stuck in the hair (OF THE ARMPIT) and ripped out a bald spot. It has nothing to do with the hair on the OP's head. All of you are absolutely retarded for thinking that. Idiots.
now, if a girl's going to shave her pits, I'd assume she'd remove ALL hair, as opposed to sculpting it. ..and even dudes don't ''manscape'' that. (with the exception of pro-wrestlers)
ROFL. merfman, you must be dumber than a bag of hammers if you think she had armpit hair long enough to get a razor caught in! And what, sarcastically referring to her new bald patch as "attractive" TOTALLY applies to a bald spot on her armpit, considering that bald armpits are the DESIRED RESULT.
Then, why is this an FML?
Actually, this could happen. Most people use their right hand to hold the razor when shaving their left armpit and viceversa - in this had been the case, then yes, it would have been physically impossible for the OP to get the razor close to their scalp. However, some people, including me, use their right hand to hold the razor when shaving the right armpit and the left one when shaving the left armpit. I know it's sounds weird, but if your wrists are flexible enough it's completely doable. In this case, one would have their arm up in the air and bent at the elbow, so that the hand can reach the armpit. If said person got startled while in this position, they'd lose their focus and the forearm would naturally make a 90 degrees movement upwards, bringing the hand holding the razor somewhere close to the forehead and hairline. How did the OP get a bald patch? Probably the razor moved along the hairline. Doing something like this for even a second could easily result in shaving at least a few squared milimetres of the hair-covered surface of skin , which is more that enough to leave a bald patch that is visible because that portion of the scalp is so close to the forehead. FYL. Next time give waxing a try.
Not possible unless you pressed it right up against your head. Even then, one of those razors really can't do that unless you have already shaved your head with an electric razor. I call bullshit.

Apparently, I'm not the only one that can't see this happening at all.
At least it's a very attractive bald patch.
