You do know that's how broth is made, right?Granted that KFC was probably not a great choice, it probably wouldn't have been that bad if the chicken was still good. Sorry. No real FML here.

Well.. that is how you make soup. Atleast your BF cares enough to try too!
That is kind of cute, but I'd be more concerned with where the bones were before they were in the water. I don't know if I could eat it. Especially since when I have the flu I'm already vomiting most of the day.
ok. what a bitch. at least she has a boyfriend that is nice enough to TRY and make her soup when she is sick. god. people piss me off so much sometimes
Your bf gets an A for effort and an F for cooking skills. At least he tried to make you 'homemade' soup?
an F for cooking skills? Most women over 40 will tell you that is exactly how to make chicken soup, because they were making chicken soup long before packet stock was available. To make chicken soup you need chicken stock, to make chicken stock you either get it out of a packet OR boil chicken bones in water! Now if that was ALL the bf tried to serve her, ok maybe his cooking skills are lacking, but the girl just saw chicken bones boiling - there's no indication that that's all he was going to do. It also depends on whether the bones were chewed clean of meat... that might be a bit gross but hey, she's obviously happy to kiss him, isn't she? So you'd think she'd be happy to share his food, not to mention boiling the bones would kill any germs.
OP should try not being an ungrateful **** and opt for appreciating the gesture her bf tried to make.

Oh, yeah. FYL because you have a boyfriend that actually cares. Stop being a whiny bitch and appreciate that he's at least trying to help you feel better.
Today I tried to be nice and make my sick girlfriend chicken noodles soup from scratch with some kfc I had but all she did was bitch about it instead of being appreciative. fml
