nothing wrong with using bones that have been fried before - just means there's less taste or 'goodness' left in the bones, which you can always compensate for by using more bones.... I always use the bones left from roast chicken and it's never been a problem

yea like id b so happy if my boyfriend ran out and bought chicken soup, id b so grateful! and he makes u 1 and u complain! i get that ur sick and u wanna whine, but bad choice. isnt an FML and i dont c how this kinda stuff gets posted and some of the real fmls i moderated r friends r i published didnt get put up. i dont get it...
Lyke, totallyyyy, rite? No, seriously. Quit whining about how you and your friends don't have your FML's posted. I can give you a good reason why: Noone gives a crap. Go learn to spell, you come off as an idiotic 14 year old.
that's how you make homemade chicken broth jerk
ok Luckster OP doesnt say there was no meat left on the bones so stop shouting how the bones are supposed to have meat on them, they probably did. also yea kinda how u make a broth. oh and how it chosing to make a broth from scratch with kfc bones lazy?! the lazy option would b do nothin or just give hee some out of a can. and people if its boiled, the germs are evaporated. i think theres only 1 other smart person who realised that. honestly...
Sorry for a question posed out of cultural difference: What are the wonders chicken soup is supposed to do when ill? Except for hydrate and keep warm? But so does a tea. I'd guess the OP should have rather drunk a vit C rich fruit smoothie? :-? OT: Yes, broth is made out of bones. But seriously, *fast-food* leftovers? Those things smell awful, hopefully OP's nose is stuffed. Caring bf, yes, good idea, no.
Broth is easier on a sore throat (or queasy stomach) than smoothies or thicker drinks. Also... http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2007/jan/10/chicken_soup_common_cold/ It explains the potential anti-inflammatory effects of chicken soup.

Oh, yeah. FYL because you have a boyfriend that actually cares. Stop being a whiny bitch and appreciate that he's at least trying to help you feel better.
Today I tried to be nice and make my sick girlfriend chicken noodles soup from scratch with some kfc I had but all she did was bitch about it instead of being appreciative. fml
