Thank you! Why is is acceptable for people to tell me I'm "too skinny" or assume (and comment) that I have an eating disorder yet I can't say the same thing to grossly overweight people? (I don't mean they're gross, I mean their weight is so far above healthy).
Its okay. I wouldve done the same thing.. Everyone does it. (:
I'm not even overweight, but it has happened to me too. Depends on the chair, though.
Honestly..it could happen to anyone regardless of size. I'm 118 lbs and its happened to me PLENTY of times.
#57 I have a bone disease in 62 of my joints, including my hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and all of my fingers and toes. That's a pretty valid reason. I may not be a quadriplegic, but it's definitely not a good idea for me to go for a 5km run or start lifting weights. I still would never use it as an excuse, but it does mean I can't start exercising like a normal person. There are a lot of diseases out there other than the common ones that could make people not be able to exercise like a normal person.
Never be ashamed of who you are OP! Don't like it, change it! Don't sit around doing noting if you are not happy! Love yourself
Agreed coach.
I thought the comment sections on FML would be funny... I feel like if I read any more of these comments I'm going to end up growing balls...
Everyone has an opinion here. We have no idea what size OP actually is. Suction happens to me and I am a healthy weight. When I was younger I called myself fat and was ashamed of my size because of social pressures, even when I had an underweight BMI. It's all perception, so stating someone should diet when you don't know all the facts is not at all helpful to someone who may have body- dismorphia or something along those lines.
Don't worry about it OP - I'm technically underweight and my thighs fart all the time. I'm sure you're not as big as you think you are, thigh farts are pretty common!

Is it just your thighs against the seat? I don't think you have to be particularly fat for that, especially if it was a slightly rounded seat. Maybe it wouldn't happen to a really skinny person but I think it could happen to a regular person so no need to be ashamed...I'm sure I must've done this before. Hell, at the moment my feet are making fart noises in my sandals...it's more about shape than 'fatness'.
Yeah. I sympathise with you. But take it as motivation to exercise. I hope things work out for you.
