Yeah that's what I was thinking. Alot of the time when people spell something out like that it takes me a while to get what they were saying.

Same. I can spell fairly well, but I can't spell in my head worth crap. If someone asked me to spell a word, it might take me a minute to form it in my head and then say it out loud. The same would happen if someone was spelling to me and I wasn't writing it down. My sister was the one who won all of those spelling bees, not me.
