Im still trying to figure out your logic. You cant just tell work when youre going to be starting and expect them to be okay with it. Calling out your first day makes you look like you dont care. If i was your boss i would have fired you too. Good luck finding another job and maybe learn something from this.
Did anyone stop to think that maybe it was one of those appointments that wasn't able to be rescheduled? Those ARE a thing. Although, it may be better to miss the appointment if it was for something less important... You gotta try to make that good first-day-impression.
?? It was literally OPs fault? You don't ******* do that. The boss has every right to terminate them.
Um no, not of they failed to show up their first day. You are just as bad as OP. Lol.
Change your doctors appointment that's near the end of your list job should come before that
u can change ur docotrs appointment, but delaying ur job at first day, nt an gud idea
Unless the appointment was for something life threatening, you should have NOT called off your FIRST day. I mean, come on, that is common sense. YDI 100%

Did it ever occur to you how it would look, canceling your first day at work?
If it wasn't too serious, you should of rescheduled the doctors appointment.
