Today, I was talking to the guy that has been in love with me for two years. He said "There is a shortage of perfect breasts in the world. It would be a shame to lose yours." He then creepily looked at me and said "It's true." Thanks, Princess Bride, for supplying creepers with material. FML

If he's quoting The Princess Bride to you, even creepily, he's a keeper.

Oh noooo! Someone thinks you have perfect breasts! And he's quoting from one of the most oft-quoted movies ever! F YOUR LIFE! Or, you know, congrats.

Okay so some of you guys really need to watch the movie again. Because the guy got the quote wrong and so did most of you. Just sayin'. :) Man, I've seen PB waayy too many times. FML??

I was scrolling through to see if anyone else noticed that, and it wasn't until the end that someone had! Thanks. And in regard to the "FML??" Absolutely not. It's more like, LML :D

The guy has been in love with you for two years and he doesn't know by now that you do not appreciate The Princess Bride? Clearly he is wasting his time.... But, on the other hand... if he is conjuring the image of you losing your breasts... I'd have to say, creepy. Yep, creepy.

speaking from experience here, that line works in the most delicate of situations. I've found that you can't simply run up to a girl and tell her she has magnificent breasts. You also cannot tell her while she is throwing things at your from her bedroom window. you CAN, however, tell the girl at the supermarket counter and get away with it. just don't try to follow her home afterwards.

Well that might have worked better if he had actually quoted the line correctly "There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. T'would be a pity to damage yours." I think damage is less creepy than lose personally. Besides if you know he's been in love with you for two years but you find him creepy why are you hanging out with him, or why haven't you turned him down yet?

Outside the context of the movie (where the princess is about to kill herself by driving a dagger through her perfect breasts), unless you have breast cancer or were about to kill yourself, this makes no sense. It'd be like saying, "I'll have what she's having!" at a restaurant when the woman at the next table is choking on a chicken bone. I'm sure he meant well, but what a doofus.

Titular perfection is a lie! Also... http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/joke Try again, genius.

You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it means.
