the "perfect" line and the losing line are both from Princess Bride. I think here inadvertently put them together. in any case, it sounds like a compliment.
Well, the line is "there is a shortage of perfect breasts in this world; it would be a pity to damage yours." The quote is close enough. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XegOczOvfXY#t=0m53s Gently!
No, it's actually all one line, misquoted. At the end of the movie, after Buttercup has "married" Humperdinck and thinks Westley is dead, she decides to commit suicide by stabbing herself in the heart with a letter opener. Westley is lying on the bed in her room, and just before she does it he says, "There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. 'Twould be a pity to damage yours." So, obviously, she doesn't kill herself.
They are literally the same line. In the movie, Buttercup is about to kill herself, and that's when Wesley says those lines.
i like boobs...can I see urs? :)
inconceivable!
Are you sure you know what that word means?
Of course, EVERYone knows what it means and that the man can't climb the cliff after following them...
i seem to be using that word so much...
Did anyone else immediately get the reference and know the correct quote? Just wondering if I'm not the only one who saw Princess Bride WAY too many times...
Yes, I got it instantly, but I haven't seen that movie in years.
DEAR INTERNET, I DESPERATELY NEEDED A WAY TO CONVEY TO THE WORLD THAT I AM, INDEED, A PRETTY PRINCESS AND THIS SEEMED LIKE THE BEST WAY TO DO IT. Love, -every insecure female who owns a computer.
I could understand your PB reference if he told you his name was Inigo Montoya and asked you if you had six breasts... or if he told you that you had Breasts of Unusual Size... but otherwise... I'm missing it.
Cancel that... it's coming back. Haven't seen PB in ages.
"I don't think they exist."
well obviously if the affection was mutual you wouldn't have found it creepy; you'd have been flattered. IT'S ALL CONTEXT BITCH
Dude, he's a keeper.

If he's quoting The Princess Bride to you, even creepily, he's a keeper.
Oh noooo! Someone thinks you have perfect breasts! And he's quoting from one of the most oft-quoted movies ever! F YOUR LIFE! Or, you know, congrats.
