your a Dick maybe that's her Passion asshole. not everyone does it for the money
How unprofessional can you be? As a medical professional, I know for a fact that it's against the rules to discuss your personal life with clients. Go to a therapist like the rest of us and leave your poor unsuspecting patients alone!
Being worthless depends on how well you do your job. I'm a nurse, and my hairdresser STILL makes more than me. She does work out of her home and pulls in over $250-$400 a day depending on how many people's hair she cuts (or colors, styles etc). And where I work for 8-12 hours depending on shifts, she works 5-8 hours, depending on how much she feels like working that day. It's always the jobs that you consider "worthless" that make the most money. For example, one of my younger brothers is in college, and he bartends at a high end restaurant. He makes $300-$400 in tips a night easy. It's about being good at your job, not settling for one you hate because it's "acceptable" So it really is based on how good you are. Watch it, your sis could end up making more than you.
I hate people like this... Shut up with the complaining. If she likes it then let her be and worry about your damn self. Stop expecting people to be what YOU want them to be and mind your own business. You deserve it.
And being a doctor is so ******* wonderful? Sometimes, hairdressers and cosmetologists are more important than doctors, especially in cases of people who have very low self esteem and really hate themselves. A cosmetologist will (if they're a good one) actually talk to them about it, whereas a doctor/psychologist will be like "So when did this start? Was your childhood okay? Yes? It was? Well, I'm thinking that you're like this because you need attention. You're feeling empty." When all else fails, simply tell them that they're not getting the attention they need.
Well, as a hair stylist, I'm here to tell you it isn't worthless. If you work hard, you can make as much as any one else. I have just opened my own salon in the city, and I'm so successful, that theres a three month waiting list to get an appointment with me. Still worthless?
How insulting. You're a cow

I've been doing hair for 10 years now and make quite a bit more money than most of my friends who have "professional" jobs. Next time you're getting your own hair done why don't you take a moment to ask your stylist about the Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, and Electricity classes he/she had to take before you write it off as a "worthless qualification".
First off, you can make good money in hair. Women are vain, men are vain, and everyone is willing to pay to look good. And before you write it off as worthless, why don't you cut someone's hair, and see how it turns out? While I would never go into hairdressing, I would never deem it worthless... otherwise my hair would look like crap. Second off, you should ALWAYS know what your patients work in before complaining. It avoids insulting them. Third off... your patients are NOT paying you to complain. Do your job, be cheerful, and listen to THEM complain. Fourth off... I hope your hairdresser never hears you think low of him. You may never look acceptable again.
