Today, I was tending the cash register. I scanned a lady's items which totaled $89.68. She paid with a $100 bill. I gave her $11.32 change. She angrily gave back the extra dollar and complained about "schools nowadays". I'm an AP Calculus student. FML

wait huh she got mad cuz you gave her an extra dollar by mistake :-/

Doesn't the cash register tell you how much change to give? You may want to reconsider your major if reading 4 (four) numbers on a screen is confusing.

It's not like accidents don't happen with the cash register.

Shit happens. Once a cashier gave me 35 crowns instead of 10, that's like 3 USD instead of 1. But I play fair so I gave the 25 back to her.

You can get a good job with the next Mars Rover crew. Remember to figure out if you're working in Kilometers or Miles.

You don't need to be an AP Calculus student in order to make correct change in your head. Some people are just better than working out math in their heads than others. It doesn't mean that someone is any less intelligent if they feel that they need to work out a math problem on paper. Some people are just more visual-oriented than others.

No, I'm pretty sure you meant, 'I'm a dumbass AP calc student'.

that's your own damn job, next time count your change out. it'll save your ass from a short register and maybe losing your job.
