Today, I was threatened to be held back because of the lack of teacher-parent communication. My parents refuse to sign my report card because of my one mark below ninety percent. My teacher was dead serious about failing me. FML

Today, my parents saw my report card. Now, they refuse to buy me my the new computer I've always wanted because my grades had 'slipped'. I made honor roll for three terms, and was kept off for the fourth for a single bad grade. I failed gym. FML

Today, I got my report card. My teacher gave me an F, and under class comments she gave me a U for unsatisfactory. So I got an F U from my teacher. FML

Today, my parents have made it very clear to me that if I fail one more assignment, they’re disowning me. I got a zero on a paper that I poured my heart and soul into, and in the notes, the teacher wrote, “I don’t even need to read this paper to know that it is bad.” FML

Today, my math teacher brought his laptop to tally up all our scores for our report card. He then displayed the results on a big screen in front of the whole class. The ones who failed were marked yellow. I was the only one marked yellow. FML

Today, the feedback my teacher wrote on my English assignment was so horrible that it took me half an hour and help from both my parents to decipher it. It turned out to be a scathing criticism of my "poor communication skills". I hate my teachers. FML

Today, we got our progress reports. My physics teacher wrote that I don't participate in class. My mom got mad and grounded me before I could tell her that I raise my hand in class all the time but my teacher won't call on me cause he can't pronounce my name. FML

Today, my friend said that his dad told him we couldn't hang out anymore, he thinks I'm a bad influence because I don't have all 90's in my classes. The only reason he knows I have below a 90 is because he's my geography teacher. I have an 87. FML

Surely the teacher can't fail you if you're one mark below 90, is there no other communication besides your report card? I'm sure if it was important your teacher could call or email...

love they can't just fail you to spite your parents. I would go to the principal. if that doesn't work the dean etc....run that garbage up the chain. that's not ok.

Tell the teacher that is unfair, and if she wants to set up a meeting with the parents, then that is her responsibility. You are not responsible for adults, after all, you are a child. That is making a child do adult things, and my four year old knows that adult issues are not for kids. Really? This teacher needs to pull her head out her ass like the parents need to too.

Your teacher is a moron for failing a good student! Not every kid has a good home life and attentive parents involved in their lives. He should consider that as one of the reasons for lack of "parent" participation. Your parents are a piece of work, OP. I wish you luck. Move out asap.

Talk to your principal. You cannot be penalized because your parents do not tow the line with your school. You are not responsible for your parents. Literally, your parents are responsible for you. It's bizarre of your teacher to think that a student is responsible for their parents behavior, and I guarantee against school rules to penalize you for it.
