Today, I was traveling. At airport security, the woman patting me down felt something "down there" and asked me what I was wearing. I told her it was a sanitary napkin. She put her hands inside my pants just to be sure. FML

Not only was this woman touched in a personal area, which is bad enough on its own, but also during her period AND in public and you think the employee doing the touching is more entitled to discomfort? Shocker.

Think about this: its her JOB to search people for DRUGS or WEAPONS meaning this WORKER has to do this DAILY. And its probably her RESPONSIBILITY to make sure people don't come on board with those things. And if another 9/11 happens I'm pretty damn sure people are gonna bitch to the airport for not doing a better job at being safe. So yeah it sucks that her personally space had to be invaded but now and days we can't take any chances cus its makes someone UNCOMFORTABLE.

Well either they all die if the bomb explodes or she would be shot down and then she explodes or if didn't go off while she's shot down, the airport would be cleared out and bomb squad comes in to probably just set off the bomb.(since that would be easier to do considering on where it is)

Even though I live in the U.S.,I would feel pretty ******* violated if someone stuck her hands in my pants or undies to determine that I was indeed wearing a pad. And I imagine that most women, no matter were they live, would say the same thing.

My boyfriend has been stopped by the TSA 3 times for his crotch looking "suspicious." He told them it was his penis. They still copped a feel every time, just to make sure. TSA = Thirty Second Assault

I'm not quite sure but it seems like you were sexually assaulted by a power tripping security guard. I understand that they can search anyone randomly, it's happened to me the last 3 trips I went on. However I was not felt up or down in this case. For her to go that far & put you through that, I'd report her. They can't just go around poking peoples parts whenever they want.

You couldn't, actually. As long as the pat/feeling is not past the exam, and is not sexual, it is not considered harassment. They have full body scans now, too. (Clothes on search with technology, but the scanner sees under clothing)
