Today, I was trying to change my PIN code in order to make my phone more secure and prevent people from getting information from it. Instead, I somehow ended up locking my phone permanently. FML

I've done that before, it's not something that was in the manual for me. If you call your service provider though they usually give you a code to unlock it again. Just don't try guessing that too otherwise your phone will permanantly lock up and you have to mail it in.

today, I tried to change my underwear and ended up killing my dog. you're a fool

shit tht happened to you too? I thought I was the only one....

oh sorry op I did that once too, I had to get a new phone, but that wasn't that bad

Just a thought. You can't call your carrier and have them set your phone to factory reset or w/e it's called? (Ik I was having trouble with my phone~sending mms. Vzw were able to load stuff on my phone to try to correct the problem. Worst case scenario, they'd reset my phone. Wouldn't that mean the phone would be unlocked? If not, FYL.

Today, I tried to change my email password. I chose PENIS. it wouldn't let me use that because they said it was too small. FML

YDI. read the manual next time op.

If you've locked your SIM, then just get the network to send out a new one. They should be able to do that in a shop. If you've locked the actual phone, then you'll need to take it to a phone shop (or generic phone unlocking store) and they'll do it for you. Costs about £10 in the UK, so I don't know what it'll cost over there.
