Today, I was using my dad's cell because I had broken mine. I was texting my boyfriend all day when my dad needed his phone back. I forgot to tell my boyfriend that my dad would be using the phone. My boyfriend then texted graphically what he wanted to do to my dad. FML

Today, I had to tell my boyfriend his dad was sending me inappropriate texts that made me feel uncomfortable. I tried to make him stop, but he kept going until I felt like I needed to tell my boyfriend. Who's now broken up with me because of it. FML

Today, while out with my girlfriends, my overbearing boyfriend called and texted my phone over and over. Later, I told him to calm down and stop acting like my dad. He snapped back, "How am I acting like your dad when you don’t have one?" He knows my dad died when I was 10. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I slept together. In the middle of the night, he saw my phone receiving a text from someone saying, "Hey baby, I missed you so much! I'm going to be visiting in a couple of days, hope to see you again, I love you!" He got mad and left my house. It was my dad in Ohio. FML

Ouch. I've had somehting similar happen, I was once using my dad's phone to send my friend a very important text since it was broken. She saved the number to her phone just in case. After seeing a scary movie with my friends, this one guy was texting scary messages to my dad's phone trying to freak em out thinking it was mine from the number he got from her. My dad was that close to calling the police.

#3 - She worded that perfectly for comedic effect. Most people could get the joke without any confusion. Secondly, YDI because the guy must have known it wasn't your phone and anybody that would text private things to somebody else's phone (ESPECIALLY a girl's father) is completely stupid. #7 and #17 also explained it exactly right.
