Today, I was video chatting with my boyfriend of two years. He asked me to turn off my webcam. I asked why, and he said to just trust him. Turns out it was because he didn't want to see my face as he broke up with me. FML

Anyone who breaks up with a long-term partner via text message is a coward and a douchebag, and is definitely NOT worth your tears. If he can't even be man enough to break up with you in person, how would he ever be man enough to be a good husband or father? You deserve so much better, so don't give up :)

As long as the person breaking up with someone is honest, respectful and gives you closure, the method chosen doesn't really matter to me. But I understand why most of you are upset, there are a lot questions that come up during a breakup and we may not get the opportunity to ask them all if we're not there is person. I hope you get your closure and are able to move on easily.

This person is getting thumbed down because she had the audacity to post a sane, reasonable, well-out thought comment that is inoffensive and contains no vulgar language. The average FML thumber doesn't have the synapses necessary to process anything more complicated than "lol u fail".
