Today, I was walking my husky when she saw a cat and bolted toward it. I couldn't let go of the leash because my hand was tangled up. Forced to run along, I ran into a parked van at full sprint. I lost my dog, broke two ribs and have to pay for the dent in the van. FML

Well if you're going to have a big dog you have to be able to properly control it or you're screwed. Not going to lie though, that would hurt.

first of all, the first rule u should learn wen u get a dog is NEVER EVER wrap the leash around ur hand. that is friggin common sense which obviously u dont have second of all, why do u have a dog if u cant control it like #29 said third of all, u talk like ur dog is a piece of shit and the cause of all this instead of u, wtf? dont own a big dog (especially a husky; they can be bad tempered sometimes nd dont always listen to commands. bad combo wit u) its that plain nd simple

i dont know why people are saying you would still be in the hospital, they can't do shit for broken ribs, give you a brace and send you on your way. i think this happened i have had my own experience with walking a dog. plus why wouldn't you have typed this, ribs are broken not fingers.

If you're a dude, you need to get stronger. If you're a girl, damn... Either way, turn on National Geographic and watch "The Dog Whisperer." I feel bad for what happened, but honestly, if you can't handle a dog and don't know how to train it, something bad is going to happen eventually.

I am entirely able to handle my husky, and I weigh 93lbs.

Get a dog you're able to control, or don't have one at all. As the owner of a small dog, I hate seeing people walking a large dog that they would obviously not be able to handle in the event of an emergency. Everyone says they have a "nice" dog. Well a dog is nice until it isn't anymore. Sorry about your ribs and losing your pet, but YDI.

1 tip Dont laugh to much or too hard

Whoa easy people, huskies are instinctual hunters and are some of the strongest dogs ... they are usually trained to pull sleds ... im a trained triathlete and anyone of my huskies could out pull me that really sucks i hope everything works out

@#24...maybe you should go out in the street and try to dent a vehicle by simply running into it. won't happen...i do body work for a living. i deal with dents in cars all day every day. just sayin.

#39 - You can dent a car with a human body. It's possible. If the OP hit the car with enough force it can dent. That's like saying that you can't dent a car with a baseball bat. It can happen.
