If you're gonna act like a spandex queen, expect commentary. YDI.
Skinny jeans imply a certain amount of skinniness. As do thongs.
YDI. DRESS FOR YOUR BODY TYPE. Life's not fair. I'm sorry, but if you're fat, please don't wear: skinny jeans, tube tops, halter tops, short skirts, or LEGGINGS (GOOD LORD)
Hallajuah!! I totally agree, it doesn't matter if you are a size 2 or 20 you need to wear the right fitting clothes, and the size won't matter in the end. Ugh!!
Good grief, dress for your body type. Wearing unflattering clothes makes you look heavier! Just because scary thingLindsey Lohan can get away with skinny jeans does not mean the general population can.
How about wearing pants that fit, hmmm?
That is one thing i hate about this world, fat people in skinny jeans=TURNOFF!!! /vomit
Wow, I must say to all those who posted such nasty comments are simply...nasty. I understand that if some one is overweight they should lose the weight. However it seems that all those who said that the OP should lose weight seemed to infer that she should lose it because it will make her prettier... and this makes me very sad. I live on a college campus and I see all these stick thin girls flouncing around in too much make-up while tanning all too often. Just because some one is skinny doesn't make them pretty, and it's unfortunate just how much we invest into looks. Some one should dress up nicely for confidence reasons, not because they need to fit in with what is considered 'beauty' at the time. Personally, I'm not the trendiest person, I'm really normal. I'm 5'3 and 130 and I've always had issues with body image until just about a year ago. I realized looks don't last and what matters is personality. Honestly the best thing I have to say about myself is not that I have an amazing body, but that no one has ever called me a bitch. I put effort into being a good and caring person and I understand some need criticism but all those who said 'fat people in skinny jeans is gross' are a bit harsh. No one likes being put down like that, and you shouldn't say something you wouldn't want to hear yourself. And those who I have met who say comments such as the harsh ones I've read are generally the ones who have the least self-confidence.
I don't have sympathy for people who don't dress for their size. Just because you have fat rolls doesn't mean you're overweight, but it does mean you can't wear clothes designed for size 8 girls. My younger sister is about a size 12, so not overweight by any means, but she wouldn't try to wear a skin-tight tank top or skinny jeans coz she knows it doesn't suit her body. That said I have a size 12-14 friend who, while she has a bit of extra fat, is mainly muscle, and far too often she wears skin-tight dresses and tops which show every bump and roll... she doesn't need to lose weight but she'd look so much nicer if she just chose a dress a size or two larger.

Why do overweight people always try to wear tightfitting clothes? Just becouse you managed to squeeze into something that's a couple of sizes smaller then you really are will not make you look good or thin, it will make you look like a stuffed sossage! Seriously unflattering, you'd look much better and skinnier in loose fitting clothes designed for your shape and size... just a tip, take it or leave it!
Moral of the story? Don't wear skinny jeans.
