Today, I was walking through the streets with my best friend, feeling confident in my new skinny jeans. My friend said, "you really should be wearing a thong with those pants, your underwear line is showing". I was wearing a thong, those lines were just my fat rolls. FML

Why do overweight people always try to wear tightfitting clothes? Just becouse you managed to squeeze into something that's a couple of sizes smaller then you really are will not make you look good or thin, it will make you look like a stuffed sossage! Seriously unflattering, you'd look much better and skinnier in loose fitting clothes designed for your shape and size... just a tip, take it or leave it!

Moral of the story? Don't wear skinny jeans.

/facepalm You people are whats wrong with the world. There's so much wrong with what so many of you are saying, i don't even know if you realize how incredibly ignorant you are. First of all, skinny jeans refer to the cut of the jeans, just like bootcut, flare, relaxed fit, etc. do. It doesn't refer to the body style they look good on. Honestly, they can look good on a stick thin woman AND a woman with curves. Its about knowing how to wear them. I've seen women/girls who are a scary skinny still have a muffin top and i've seen women with curves completely outdress/outstyle them. Why? cause they know how. Hell, i've got curves. I've got an ass and i've got breasts and i've got hips and i've got thighs. And i know how to rock a pair of skinny jeans. So no, you don't have to be stick thin to look good in them, you just have to know how to wear them. And explain to me, i mean really, give me a reason why its SOOOOOOO wrong to be curvy? Overweight and curvy are not the same thing. And overweight is not so terrible either. Its not healthy, but it doesn't make someone less of a person. It doesn't mean you get to disregard someone's feelings or treat them as lesser human beings. Beauty is skin deep, but ugly is clear down to the bone. That flawless skin and tight, taut body you love so much is going to disappear one day. Just because your mother and father got together and created a physically appealing combination of genetics it doesn't mean you're beautiful. Sure, you'll look good. But it doesn't really matter if you don't have the personality to back it up. If you're so petty, judgemental and shallow and you don't have a kind, compassionate bone in your body, then you are ugly, no matter what the mirror tells you. All the make-up and pretty clothes in the world can't hide that kind of ugly. And just one more thing for you to think about. That person you make fun of might be fat, but you're ugly and they can lose weight.

If I could thumbs up this 4345545 times, I would. Your rant is better than mine. :D

Skinny jeans shouldn't come in sizes exceeding single digits

A fatty in skinny jeans? Until you can work them maybe wear something that doesn't accentuate your cellulite farm. Please?

FYI op... they are called "skinny jeans" but that doesn't mean that they will make you skinny... stick to penningtons jeans please, the only muffin tops I want to see are at breakfast!

forgive my undue psychoanalysis, but the rather untoward remarks slung about in these comments, like two squadrons of artillery trading volleys, are awfully telling about all of you as people, and i must say that what i am reading off of all of you doesn't particularly bode well. essentially, what the lot of you are doing is subscribing to, defending, and reinforcing traditional beauty standards set into place by a patriarchal society that treats women as something to be ogled and fawned over as a trophy of sorts. basically the lot of you are placing yourselves into easily defined roles that do nothing but continue this endless dance of futility and inevitability. firstly, you have the typical response of a Patriarchal Man, wherein he demeans the woman at hand for being, i guess, some sort of hideous, bloblike ogre whose tremendous mass, akin to that of a celestial body, is surpassed only by its endless desire to consume all that surrounds it. this is because he is being faced with the primary enemy to established societal and gender rolls, that which is different, which is dealt with through subjugation of the supposed offending party through whatever means necessary. secondly, you have the women confined to societal roles, whose reaction is just as violent as the male's, even more so, perhaps, due to the OP violating their long-held trust of what a woman should look like. their rage is unbridled and second to none, because they also fear which is different, they fear that because societal conditioning implies that all that which is not like them is ugly or unwanted, and a subconscious, well-hidden fear of themselves. their poor self esteem sows the seeds of fear, a fear that they are no better than whom they are attacking. thirdly, you have the most surprising, least willing supporter of the patriarchy, the very women who would defend the OP, not due to her intentions, but her tactics. the response is reactionary and defensive, thereby showing to those verbally assaulting the OP that their tactics are working, that their defenses are weak enough to allow these insults to get to them. in summation: **** alla y'all.

holy shit someone actually read what i wrote i feel kind of bad for you. you spent all that time reading & writing a response to what amounts to three minutes worth of tangentially related rambling. shine on, you crazy diamond. shine on. ALTHOUGH there's no need to be a total dick about it.

No, your not ******* me one bit bucko! Read my comment before generalizing on the rest of the posters, which is what you argument is argumenting about no? Society generalizing and classifiying beauty in women! I smell a roast beef sandwhich, extra coleslaw!

your grasp of english and ability to express yourself intelligently makes me want to undress my self, your knowledge of the human symbiotic and social constructs is erotic, the depth of which, forms a strong abutment to support your argument, my conjecture after reading your comment is that you have studied english literature. what i mean to say is, i like u

If you KNEW they were fat rolls, you should have done something to get rid of them.

YDI, fat bitches shouldnt wear skinny jeans

The rule of 8 applies here; if you're more than a size 8, don't wear skinny jeans!

What if the person is nicely curvy, but really tall and wide and was a size 13? Could THEY wear skinny jeans?
