I'm sure you'd feel the exact same way if your boyfriend did this with a woman. Men doing this is something every woman bitches about ENDLESSLY. Women seem to think there's a double standard where when a man does something it's "wrong" and when a woman does something it's "ok". Then women wonder why men don't respect or trust them. It's because they can't because of double-standards like that. Worse yet, you're from my neck of the woods.

If you're so entranced at looking at some guy's abs, then YDI. I can understand just glancing a person over or looking for a couple seconds, but what you did is obviously more and I would be kind of upset if my boyfriend did that to me. I'm sorry, but you should learn not to stare.

I'll probably get my head bitten off for saying this, but... There are some (few) people out there who, once they find the right person, don't care about looking at anyone else and therefore just don't do it. I'm one of those people and so is my boyfriend. Of course, I'm not saying the OP and her ex were in that situation, because they weren't. But not everyone gets thrills from checking out other people while they're with their boyfriend/girlfriend.

Your boyfriend was a douchebag. It's natural and normal to take notice of attractive people. If someone's boyfriend/girlfriend dumps them for taking notice of a good-looking member of the gender they're attracted to, the dumped person is better off.

I love how many people think it's normal for someone to OGLE someone else to the point where they walk into a ******* pole. Yeah, because I totally see people walking into poles every day. Not. I mean really, did your eyes turn huge and your tongue drop out of your mouth like a cartoon character too?! It is normal for humans to *look* at other attractive people. It is NOT normal to completely scam on someone like a ******* creep. And I'm pretty sure if it had been the guy eye-******* another girl, the females on this site would be like "OMG YDI!!!!!!"
