Today, I was walking with my girlfriend when she began skipping ahead of me and out in to the street. I saw a car coming right at her so I tackled her to the ground to save her. Turns out the car was stopping and was never going to hit her, and my girlfriend doesn't appreciate concussions. FML

Today, I was walking on a busy street. I saw this beautiful blonde walking across the street and a car was coming. I wanted to be like in the movies where the guy pushes the girl out of the way so she doesn't get hit. I accidentally pushed her the wrong way. Right into the car. FML

Today, I was walking out of the grocery store when out of nowhere, a car backing up pretty fast sped down the parking lot and hit me, causing me to fall down and drop all of my groceries. The woman jumped out of her car, not to help me, but to carefully check her bumper for scratches. FML

Today, I was driving when a woman started crossing the street against the light at the upcoming intersection, so I slammed on the brakes and stopped short of hitting her. That's when she intentionally jumped onto my car and started screaming that I had "mowed her down". The cops believed her. FML

Why the heck are so many people complaining about the fact that she was skipping? He might have just meant walking with a little more spring in her step or whatever. I feel sorry for you, hope she comes to her senses and realizes you were just trying to help, hope she gets well soon and doesn't dump you!

#4, not everyone gets their wisdom teeth out during their teen years. And even if this person is around that age, who's to say he or she isn't sexually active? Certainly not you. #23, you obviously haven't had this done yet. I know when I was coming to after getting all four wisdom teeth out, I told my dad some elaborate story about Kathy Griffin and a cave in the mountains. Then we laughed for twenty minutes or so. Once I was able to feel the pain, I couldn't talk much, but it was fine right after. #28, I highly doubt you were aware. If you were, can you really calling it going "under"? Also, people have different reactions, you know.

What's so wrong with skipping!?.... It doesn't really matter what age you are, you can skip. I'm 16 and I skip once and awhile, me and my friends did it heading to our car after leaving a concert, and I can skip backwards. Who gives a shit. He attempted to save her from what he thought could hurt her. It's considered an FML.. because in attempt to save her, he hurt her just a bit, and that causes people to tear themselves apart sometimes so it could FHL up. Some of you commenters need to grow the hell up, and stop with the sarcasim like you are all knowing. What would you do if your loved one or a friend was in the middle of the road? When you're in a panic you don't think things entirely through. And I think the OP did the right thing, it's better than just standing there and doing nothing, or walking away. Yes he hurt her, but it showed he cared, and didn't want to see her hurt.
