Today, I was walking with my girlfriend when she began skipping ahead of me and out in to the street. I saw a car coming right at her so I tackled her to the ground to save her. Turns out the car was stopping and was never going to hit her, and my girlfriend doesn't appreciate concussions. FML

reminds me of a ben stiller movie. in his head he's the hero, in reality he messes things up.

that's a sweet gesture, but is your girlfriend around the age of 6 by chance? She deserves it for running or "skipping" out into the street without looking both ways.

Congratulations your girlfriend is better at reading and understanding what drivers are going to do than you. Guess she'll be driving in your relationship, after she recovers from the concussion.

so she was already in the street, and you tackled her to the ground, thinking that it would save her? wouldn't that just put both of you on the ground in front of the car?

**** off, #21, nobody likes Twilight. It's the shittiest book ever written. OP, you and your girlfriend are both idiots.

It's sweet in a....weird way x]

to you guys who are wondering how she actually got a concussion from being tackled to the ground, not all concussions are the serious ones that you hear about all the time. ive gotten 4 concussions in the past year, one of which from being hit in the head with a phone. if her head hit the pavement or the curb, she could easily have a concussion. its just a bruise on your brain. depending on the force her boyfriend used, it could even be a major concussion.

cars usually have better control and stop when they see a pedestrian coming, you deserved that one

My girlfriend does that all the time, it always scares me, you definitely didn't deserve that.
