Today, I was working as the shift manager at my job at a fast food restaurant. Our company policy states that all employees must be clean shaven before coming to work. I had to inform one of the employees, Kris, that they had to shave before clocking in. Kris is a woman. FML

#92: I *do* clear the stuff when I get out =p It's just very annoying to have to cash out 20 euros on professional waxing every *week* to get a decent result and to minimize the irritation, so I skip the whole process in my "recluse" phases. I'd rather be a man so I could just shave it off... Then of course I still look like a vampire, what with being ghastly pale, so the "dark alley" remark stands.

wow. the boss is a douche for making you tell her. but its not really n FML awk position though

#9 and #95 - how would you feel if you were a guy in his position (only saying that since i don't know your gender) going up to a woman you work with and telling her she needed to shave her face.

good thing my work lets me have a beard....then again, im a dude. haha

the bearded lady has it coming. seriously. lots of women grow facial hair. its no big deal. just keep that shit waxed and you're all good. its those people with no shame that need society to help them along. public shaming for bad hygiene!

I'm gonna laugh if she puts this on FML: "Today, I came into work and my shift manager told me I needed to be clean-shaven. I'm a woman. FML."

We have the same rule at the fast food restaurant I work at. However, our mentally retarded cleaning lady does not have to comply with it. Her caretakers let her shave her legs, so I don't know why they can't hint for her to take care of her face too, or cut her hair into anything but a mullet. I know she's oblivious to it all, but it makes me feel bad.

Holy shit! Where do you work? If it's in Cincinnati, I think I might actually know this Kris

#91, you should consider shaving. and when you do, do it while showering, it comes out without any wounds like that. I have very pale skin and black body hair too, but no mustache.
