BTW I didn't have to sing to get the job either. and our big groups tip. they take pity.
i used to work at coldstone. we gave up on the singing after like 3 months and refused to do it.
you got money shut up
coldstone creamery in NOLA?
how is that a FML your gay
i know how you feel i work at coldstone and the owners are nazis about singing when people tip...even when u r alone or if someone puts like a dime in :(
i actually was a manager at a coldstone for a while, they don't hire people who can sing, its people who have enthusiasm cause half the people I worked with couldn't carry a tune. And when you get people who put in 25 cents and expect you to sing its annoying, thats why i made it a store rule that we wouldn't sing for less than a buck, and if you put multiple tips in we only sang the first time.

Not a FML. You got a $20 tip. Did you actually WANT to have to sing more?
I don't expect my local Coldstone workers to have Grammy-worthy talent. I expect them to sound like people who work for $6.75 an hour or whatever and are required by their part time job to sing to customers. I don't even like that rule, I think its awkward and kind of humiliating.
