Today, I made the mistake of watching The Daily Show clip where Jon Stewart talks about losing his dog, and it made me think of my dog I lost. Then, right on cue, the song "Every Breath You Take" came on. Now I'm waiting for my doctor's office to open and sobbing in the car, with people staring at me. FML

Today, I introduced my dad, who is a surgeon, to the TV show 'House, M.D.' I thought it'd be a good bonding experience. How wrong I was. He spent the whole time yelling about the "insane" medical inaccuracies, then lectured me about my crappy taste in TV. FML

Today, it only took my dad 10 minutes after I'd arrived at my parents' house for him to say that the actor scheduled to be the new Doctor Who couldn't be Doctor Who because "He's black!" I did try pointing out that Doctor Who is an alien with two hearts but… I gave up after that. Merry Christmas, yeah. FML

blimey, you have perfectly described the way I felt when watched 'The Time...'! Matt Smith was absolutely brilliant as the Doctor and he definitely has deserved having a better final episode! It is sort of messed up without complete explanation of all the unclear moments of the past 3 seasons but with all the most popular enemies. I can only hope that Moff will still explain some of them in the next season (but anyway I'm tired already of this "Silience-Crack-TARDIS explodes" line). Sometimes it seems that it became more of money-making and 'please the fans'(as the 50th Anniversary Episode) show (than it was before) than about the Doctor himself. But I'm still looking forward to see Capaldi as the Doctor. Hope he meets the expectations...

It wasn't as good as the 50th anniversary episode but I'm glad Matt Smith's gone. Hopefully we'll never see Amy or Rory again either, they made the show unwatchable.

I was never much of a fan of Amy either, but Rory is easily one of my favorite of all the Doctor's companions, right up there with Donna or even the classic Sarah Jane.
