I cried when adult Amy came on, but that's about it. I ******* hate Moffat. I had such a strong passion for Doctor Who in the Tennant days, but now it seems like nothing more than showing off how "quirky" and "nerdy" the Doctor is. I hope the bowtie drop was a metaphor for "wow, we're going to get serious and not be so !!1!1!1!1random1!11!1! all the time! maybe now the episodes will make sense!"

I'm actually exited for Capaldi. Despite the fact that Matt Smith was my first Doctor, I think it'll be interesting to see what Peter Capaldi brings to the table.

That's what you get for being one of those people who only like the doctor for his looks. All I gotta say is don't let the Tardis door hit you on the way out.

yes I watched it to. But I will love Doctor Who, sure it'll be different without Matt, but that's how the show is. The Doctor regenerates.

SPOILERS! I felt like they dragged on the regeneration for too long. Matt took a while to grow on me, but I was kind of disapponted when it wasn't Capaldi walking up the stairs. I mean, he killed an entire fleet of Daleks. Is that not enough of an end?! I'm quite excited for Capaldi's Doctor. I think he'll be fantastic. My husband hated Matt so he's far more excited. lol.

The dropping of the bowtie.. I ALMOST did't want to finish the episode. That was just cruel. Steven Moffat can be such a sadist.

the reason that episode was made that way was to bring it back to it's roots. doctor who used to be very different.
