Well the cat can basically appropriate everything in a house, so there's a lot of potential presents. New table: scratching post. New keyboard and mouse: lounge chair and plaything. New clothes: fancy hairbrush.

I dunno pleo. My cats like to sit on my clothes and burrow into them like a cat bed. There's a running joke that there's more pussy in my pants ( due to my cats ) then Ron Jeremy has managed to defile. I don't know why but cats like sitting in my pants. Lol

The thing? It's a cat, not a rock.

You make a cat sound like it's you... I have two of the smarter breeds of cat and they are far more intelligent than half of the humans I know.

I got my kitty a stocking and several gifts for Christmas also, does that mean I need a new life too? No. I bottle fed my kitten from the day it was born when my cat died after giving birth, so she looks at me like I'm her real mother, and I guarantee you she's grateful for everything I've gotten her. It baffles me that people see dogs as man's best friend, but cats are worthless and have no soul.

13- I feel like you've never adopted a pet into your family. Animals are not considered "just animals" to those that have pets, they truly are part of the family. I love my dogs as if they were children, and I do buy them Christmas gifts. Hell, my parents even buy them gifts. They may not appreciate them in the same sense that a human does, but I think pets still have the capability of enjoying them.

You know. People like you ( the original commenter ) baffle and disgust me. You Quite obviously have never formed an emotional bond with an animal before. My cats are literally like daughters to me. I would do damn near anything for them. Does that mean I have no life? No. I have a -very- fulfilling life. Closed mindedness is bad mmkay?

Brain size is only relevant in Brain/Body ratio. If you were the size of a cat, than your brain would be about that size. Not to mention that brain size has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence.

Cats aren't worthless but a soul they lack for sure.

51, I completely agree! My family and I bottle fed an abandoned kitten since he was 6 days old and a few weeks later adopted a male kitten his age. They both are grateful for all we've done for them and to have each other as brothers.

Dogs rule!!!! They are loving and pay attention... Cats only care about you when they want food or need something. I have had 2 cats and like 15 dogs... All the dogs want is to be around you and keep you happy... Both of the cats I had were terrible they never payed any attention to me or anyone else in our house.

128, it was probably their personality... Or you showed too much attention... Voldemort pulls away when he gets too much attention, so I'll ignore him for a few hours or a day and when he wants to cuddle and have lovey moments, then he comes to me... And he does it without asking for food...
