Um I doubt your eyes can make you see kids and shit when they aren't really there. shadows? yea maybe but people? not unless they were on something
Oh man, that's freaky. When I was a little kid I lived in these apartments and was terrified of the dark (now that I think about it my fear stopped when we moved but I always assumed it was because I was almost 12) and refused to go in dark rooms. One night my lamp had burnt out so I begged and cried for my mom to let me take a shower and sleep in her room. As I was getting ready to shower, I glanced in the dark hallway and an old man was standing near my room doorway. He was mostly shadow but I could see deep set eyes, a beard that hit his collar bone, and a weird old hat. I remember whimpering, closing my eyes for what felt like eternity but was probably only a few seconds, and he was gone. I also remember I never left my closet open (I actually wouldnt go in the closet at all- day or night) because "a bad monster lives in there".
its not the house that's haunted.... its your son.
They say ghosts attach themselves to people not places, so try to figure out what he wants and help him move on
Chucky's BACK!!!
That story creeps me out!
It was probably a hallucination; a lot of people get them when they're falling asleep, waking up, half-asleep or overly tired. I hear voices as I fall asleep and when I'm too tired, so it was probably a visual version of that. As someone else said, they're called hypnagogic hallucinations, and they're nothing to worry about. That is, unlike regular hallucinations, they aren't usually a sign of any psychological disorder. They can be a sign of a sleep disorder, though. Anyway, your house isn't haunted but you're not crazy. Try not to worry too much about it.

OP, I admire you following him. I would have gotten the hell away from there.
Set up cameras, it was probably just a trick of the eye, or you have some paranormal gift.
