Today, I went into labor with my first child, and as much as I pleaded, I had to wait for my husband to finish his raid in World of Warcraft before he'd take me to the hospital. FML

Its called 911. Effective May 1, 1991

911 doesn't work in Australia. The emergency number is 000. Effective 1961.

Don't be silly. The USA is the only country in the world. Everyone is American!

I play WoW, and seriously? I take care of my mom, and I'll tell my guild (that IS a raiding guild) to let me die or to please wait because my mother needs me. When my mom was medivac'd to a major hospital, my guild was NOTHING but supportive. I stayed in a motel on a raid night, and tried to raid. I couldn't do it, broke down mid raid and they told me to go rest. I've raided with them again since. OP: No one in my guild would take WoW over their lives. Many of them don't raid at times because of their families other obligations. Tell him that he either learns to play casually, or he doesn't play at all. If he doesn't get it, walk out. With the baby. Or you are going to end up raising the baby alone. Also, if you have his account info, there are parental controls in the battlenet options.
