Today, I went into work and noticed one of my fellow colleagues had a large bunch of flowers on her desk. As soon as I saw her, I immediately said, "Happy Birthday!" Everyone went quiet. It wasn't her birthday; her father had died. FML

More like F you for making assumptions.

Nothing says party like black tulips and red roses.

#14, that's funny. Don't sweat it, she was probably over it before you submitted this.

Oooh. That sucks. But you don't Deserve It. How would you know it was the persons birthday? I would have hated to be in your position. Sorry. But, wouldn't there be hats?

You suck at grammar. "on of my fellow colleagues" "where sitting on her desk" I'm not gonna get on you for assuming it was her birthday though. 99% of the time, it is going to be her birthday.

so what... are you an auto-grammer program? why dont you just save your proof reading for your own FML assuming your life is even interesting enough to find yourself in a situation where you get to say the 3 magic words "**** MY LIFE" P.S I feel really bad for this woman She was right to assume it was a gift it's not like mature people get sent birthday balloons into the office I would have done the samething not because I like making assumptions but because I know from experience that it puts a smile on your face when someone you don't really talk to wishes you a happy birtday
