Today, I went into work and noticed one of my fellow colleagues had a large bunch of flowers on her desk. As soon as I saw her, I immediately said, "Happy Birthday!" Everyone went quiet. It wasn't her birthday; her father had died. FML

More like F you for making assumptions.

Nothing says party like black tulips and red roses.

Why would flowers immediately indicate birthday? You're a ******* idiot. Maybe you'll learn human etiquette and stop making assumptions.

#17 Where do you get balloon from? They were flowers. Flowers are used for almost anything... You don't get someone balloons when their dad dies. I hate dumb people.

Flowers indicate something positive like 95% of the time. FYL for sure.

Dumbass. That's why you ask before you open your stupid mouth. I hope your co-worker never forgets it.

FYL, there was no way of knowing really. And at work?? Either way.. should probably be more careful in the future. And wtf #5, maybe you should die and see how it feels.

#89 is right. flowers usually mean something good, like birthdays for example, espically with a lot of people gathering around. i hate when people do that though, they act like you were supposed to know what happened. my ex did something like this recently. not your fault. unlike, for some reason, the majority think on here.

And you would assume that it was her birthday...why? Because of the flowers? Flowers aren't usually used for birthdays. I mean cake and balloons would have been a lot more understandable, but flowers? They could mean anything. Ydi Lol at spillproof #27 one of my teachers always used to say that :)
