Today, I went outside to smoke a cigarette. I had my headphones in and was blasting my music. It was also cold so I had my hood up. I had my back turned to the house and wasn't paying attention. My brother thought I was a burglar and tackled me to the concrete. FML

How come smokers always get the most YDI's ? : It's completely out of my reach. It's like it was her fault her brother tackled her like that.

those whiskers are legit as legit can git......

everyone saying "YDI for smoking" is an idiot. who the **** are you to judge her? It's her life an her health if she wants to smoke that's her decision. She can't possibly deserve being tackled and getting hurt just because she smokes, assholes.

Yeah, but it also affects the health of those around her.

that's a very illogical argument seeming OP went outside in order not to affect others.

Reira is right. Christ, I don't even smoke, I hate that I have loved ones that do, but if something happens to them just because they're sitting outside to have a damn smoke I'm not gonna be all "lol, you deserved it coz you was smokinnnn". Yes it does all that shit, no there are no health benefits in smoking, there are also no health benefits in eating McD's or KFC, so if somebody dies in a car crash going to get a meal from a fast food chain, are you going to say the same thing? OP was stepping outside in consideration for her family, she could well have sat in her room and had her cigarette and undoubtedly been more comfortable. She could've been outside wearing the same outfit for a number of reasons and her brother would have reacted the same way. The smoking is completely unrelated to the incident.

189- Do you realize how many carcinogens you breathe in on a daily basis? Or do you realize how many carcinogens you come across on a daily basis? I have no sympathy for you. Please stop breathing if you don't like it.

The carcinogens you inhale through smoking are far worse than the ones you inhale on a daily basis.

"she doesn't deserve getting hurt for smoking!" seems kind of ironic because smoking IS HURTING YOURSELF! 

Livinia, you're gorgeous. that mix of ethnicities turned out great for you. as for the carcinogens, the amounts and different kinds you encounter on a daily basis are much less harmless than the concentrations and types you inhale while smoking. if you disagree, just look around, because then it should mean everyone has lung cancer, or will develop it quickly.

I read... I went outside to smoke a cigarette and pressed YDI.

good for your brother, looking out for the the family

My guess is that your brother is an idiot. Cuz I know I tackle everyone wearing a jacket with the hood up within a 100 yard radius. YDI for having a dumb ass for a brother.

Mandarooo 7

Yes, because her brother's mental capacity is her fault.

Everyone says YDI to smokers because they are jealous. A bunch of obese people who sit on the Internet, versus the smokers who actually have to go outside. Their blood curdles at the realization that the hot ones always smoke, and I say this when smoking is a no no. It just explains this ridiculous YDI trend.

Sprocket, you obviously smoked some hippopotamus shit just before posting, because you are completely incoherent. Get off that shit, bruh. It'll kill you.

only the hot ones smoke?? non smokers are obese?! what the **** you are retarded!!! people who smoke are NOT hot...they smell like shit and have nasty skin and teeth. shut your mouth you dumb ****

Whoever says YDI for smoking doesn't realise the public service that smokers are providing. Smokers die an average of 10 years before nonsmokers, therefore saving their country about 32 cents in overall healthcare costs per pack smoked. So let the smokers do their thing, and watch the savings pile up!

laurbear12 3

wouldn't smokers require more health care in the long run?

Only while they are alive. Studies show they die an average of 10 years sooner than nonsmokers, so they save 10 years of chronic elderly care.

OCDC 9

Not if they die 10 years before nonsmokers.

10 years is not enough. They either have to die sooner or just agree that smoking is ******* terrible.

Just to spite you I'm going to smoke enough to require tons of money in medical bills when I'm old but will myself to live until I'm 120. HA!

Even without healthcare, I'm not sure what it's like in America or Canada, but Australia taxes smokes pretty severely.. So the revenue created from that alone is enough to make sure the government never wants you to stop smoking, regardless of all the scare tactic ads they try and use >.>. Smokers give the country a whole lot of money over here.
