DarthVerona tells us more.
Ok, OP here. The first woman I asked did not even attempt to size me, just sent me to the 'plus' section. When I got to the plus section, she did not size me either, but looked me up and down and asked me what size t-shirt I wear. I usually wear a medium when I wear stretchy tees, large when I don't. She told me they will not have anything in my size in white ever. I should not go other places, either, I should just call and that way I don't have to be disappointed everywhere I go. Thank you guys for your words of encouragement, but I think I'm just going to not get a dress.

While its possible they didnt carry your size, she didnt have to be such a godawful bitch about it. Im not fat at all but I have weird proportions so I had to have my dresses specially tailored, it doesnt mean you dont deserve a beautiful dress just because you cant fit onto whats average or on the wracks. There are TONS of plus sized weddings gowns and plus size retailers, but if you cant find one to try on you can mail order one and they will usually let you return it if you arent sold. Even some of the chain bridal shops carry a 3X+ which is much larger than you are. I really hope this doesnt ruin your big day. Id rather be a size large and getting married than a bitter shrew at a Bridal store anyday!
I'm sure you're beautiful! And the person who said that is just jealous because they're forever alone. While you found the love of you life!
well if you need help losing weight... try the fat extinction program it works! I lost 25 lbs in first few months.
**** punch the ******!
That could be a YDI, depending on how much you weigh and whether or not you have a medical condition.
You should've said something
That's a big hint to hit the gym
1. If you're self conscious about your weight, do something about it besides whining. 2. At least she didn't waste your time.
what an asshole. :(

I was treated very badly when I bought my dress. I called the headquarters and told them I would call the news and they gave me my dress for free.
She's probably just jealous because she's not getting married. Always a wedding dress seller, never a wearer.
