Today, I went to a carnival. While walking around with my cousin, I saw a one hundred dollar bill on the ground. Just before I stepped on it, a man grabbed it. His words? "Don't you just hate it when that happens?" And he walked away. FML

So before, you didn't have a hundred dollars. And after that, you still did not have it. So I don't really see how this is an FML, it's more a 'my life is boring'.

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the bill ;)

So? Both of you were trying to take someone else's money and he felt like being more of a douche. It's not like you had any more right to it than he did.

Damn, you got owned. But really, suck it up.

Listen, it's just a funny story that happened to me, I'm not saying, OMG MY LIFE IS RUINED BECAUSE I DIDNT GET THE 100 dollar bill. I'm just telling you what happened, it's ofcourse not a story I expect ppl to agree my life sucks, just that in that situation it stinks I didn't pick up the money. no big deal, i kno.

wow, people are getting intense about this one. its not FML becuase they didn't get free money, but because the douche who snatched it up before he/she did made a snarky comment that rubbed it in their face. the point is that if you never knew you could have had the $100 you wouldn't have cared. but its the fact that you almost did AND someone let you know that you just missed out. that sucks.

I wish there was a way to vote: "not FML worthy". Would you have been an asshole if the roles were reversed?

Easy come, easy go. It's not like you lost anything. FL of guy who lost the hundred dollars in the first place.

FYL? It wasn't your money. Instead of feeling sorry for whoever lost it your complaining about how you didn't get to take money that wasn't yours.
