Today, I went to a coffee shop with my friend. The guy rang her up and said it was only a dollar as he winked at her $10 purchase. Then he rang me up at completely full price. She got his number and I got to be the ugly friend once again. FML

That's actually really cruel. Also, I bet anything it's against policy unless he's paying out of pocket. It's a confidence booster for your friend, but he should have given you a discount, too. My best friend and I actually play the game. Whenever one of us gets hit on and something free we decline or at the end say, "oh, we forgot, our orders are together." Works every time. :)

OP, everybody with a more-attractive friend is the "ugly friend." The trick is to play this for fun, profit, and yes even revenge. Some great tips on this above. Talk to you friend and make plans for the inevitable next time. (Thumbs up, 175!)

Same things always happening to me but opposite... And I always feel so bad for my one friend cause everyone thinks she's ugly and to me I think she's beautiful. So point is don't worry about that douchebag hes not worth it and a real man can accept you for you and not just your looks
