well you obviously don't care that much about your looks knowing you have an eyebrow piercing and all
I personally wouldn't ever get an eyebrow peircing because it's just not for me. But I've seen some hot people with eyebrow peircings that were well dressed and cared about their looks. So, what you're saying, is very stupid.
Maybe she was going to take it out for her wedding. It's her wedding, her choice.
ahh, I was waiting for an ignorant comment like this one. it's really not cool to shame people for things that make them happy, like their body modifications (or anything else). fun fact, eyebrow piercings draw attention to the eyes and many people find them attractive for this reason. and #32, what the **** is a "door knocker?"
#39, I think he may be referring to a septum piercing.
Slothsarecool - You may want to just give up now before you dig your hole any deeper. Your first comment was stupid, your follow up was even worse, and... On second thought, keep going! If you continue on this asinine track, your next ones are bound to be comedy gold! *grabs popcorn and waits*
@39 - A door-knocker is a piece of jewelry that goes in your toungue - and it looks just like a door knocker. OP - I hope this didn't totally ruin your pictures. I personally would not have paid them 1 penny.
If its any comfort, scars are sexy.
FYL Even if you didn't have to pay, you'd still have the bruise in your wedding pictures. I once had a comb pull out my looped earring while getting my hair done. Didn't bleed but hurt enough to take my earrings out for all future haircuts. :P
Yeah, I thought it was common knowledge to remove any jewelry before getting a hair cut. :/
I also wanted to add that I paid for my haircut. I probably could have protested but my stylist didn't do it on purpose. It was an accident and she apologized endlessly as I'm sure the OP's stylist did.
Sayings it's common knowledge is ridiculous. It could have been new. Some piercings are not healed for up to year, meaning you can't take them out for long periods of time. I never took my industrial piercing out and they noticed it and were careful with it because I simply could not leave it out long enough.
I said I 'thought' it was common knowledge. I always remove my jewelry. Then again I only have my ears pierced.
As a stop gap, maybe a thick veil?
One-HUNDRED dollars for some guy chopping your off?
£100 is $155 dollars and some change.
#22, you're probably a dude, and NOT getting wedding-style hair done. Thus your much cheaper cost.
There's a BIG difference between getting a haircut and getting your hair done for a wedding. Getting a fancy updo takes a lot longer and a lot more skill, so they charge a lot more. When I got my hair done for my prom it was about 80$ so over 100$ wouldn't really surprise me.
I'm glad I'm a guy. No way I'd spend over 20 dollars to do my hair in any occasion...
I missed out 'hair'; that probably didn't help my defense.
This is why I did my own hair for my wedding, and it looked stunning. Best part, it was free!
Not everyone can style their own hair very awesome unfortunately. That is why girls pay the price they do for special occasions. I envy you for being able to do it on your for free. :)
You definitely shouldn't have had to pay after that. Complain to the manager and I'm sure they'll refund you.
At least you won't have an eyebrow piercing in your wedding pictures now
Maybe she was going to wear it during her wedding. There is nothing wrong with piercings. Wether she did or didn't wear it is really irrelevant anyway, her wedding, her choice.
*Traditionally the father of the bride lifts the veil and presents his daughter to the groom. Custom has something to do with Jacob tricked into marrying Leah instead of Rachel (whom he wanted) because Leah's face was covered during their nuptials. :P
Maybe you can at least have your photographer edit that out of the wedding photos? But that's still awful, hopefully makeup covers most of it and you're still able to enjoy your wedding day!

If anything I'd file a complaint.
Makeup? Or see if you could comb your hair over it?
