Today, I went to get my hair done. The hairdresser managed to catch my eyebrow piercing in his comb and almost rip it out. I now look like I have a gunshot wound on the upper right hand side of my face. I'm getting married in a matter of hours, and I still had to pay £100 for the hair cut. FML

In the UK we tend not to sue at the drop of a hat. Or comb. It was a mistake and the OP has to take responsibility for having an eyebrow piercing in place whilst having her hair cut and styled for her wedding. You would not turn up with hoops in your ears, so why anywhere else?

Pay the hundred bucks in protest. But file a lawsuit in return. The legal fees they have to pay, will cost more than $100. And hopefully you'll get something back. Cheers. All the best in your wedding.

It's always amusing how surprised guys are at the cost of the hairdressers compared to a barber. Bare in mind she was probably getting wedding hair.

My only question is who the heck gets their hair cut just hours before your wedding? I have never heard of taking jewelry off before a haircut but I have heard plenty of people say to get your hair cut at least a week before an event so if it gets screwed up you have time to fix it.

64: go do a google image search for Johnathan Davis. he's got three eyebrow piercings and they look pretty damn sexy on him. also, eyebrow piercings are EXTREMELY common...so I'm wondering when the last time you left your house was?

This is a main reason I don't think such types of piercings are for me. I'd have removed it before the haircut. Personally I find such piercings unattractive. I know I'll probably get thumbed down, but there's nothing wrong with having an opinion.
