Today, I went to go visit my beloved husband in the hospital. As I went past the nurses station, I heard them talking about the "bastard in Room 303." I went on to visit my husband in room 303. FML

I chimed in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of...closing the g*ddamn door? No! It's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality!"

Wow, yet ANOTHER non-FML. This one has absolutely nothing to do with the author of it in any form whatsoever. Wonderful.

I guess he's been a bastard to them? Perhaps you should ask him what he did to get them so pissed off!

you people all assume her husband is a bastard only in the hospital, and an angel outside. it's FYL because she has to take the bastard... oops, sorry, i meant husband home!!!

at least they werent talking about you!! & maybe ur husband was being a bastard to them.....

Sounds like what happens everytime my Grandfather had gone into the hospital. But it usually showed he was feeling better when he was bastard |D Though it's not a FYL. How does this affect you?

Um... so NO to everyone who's answered to your FML so far. These people are WRONG. Your husband is in the hospital. Of course he's probably cranky, tired, drugged up, hungry, and lonely. People like to make heroes out of Doctors and Nurses, however; for a very long time, I worked at my city's hospital. The staff are all slobs, they trash their break rooms, and they talk down to the cleaners and chefs. They were all typically short-tempered jerks who thought they were special because they held degrees. It's the nurses' JOB to be kind, patient, and considerate to your husband. If they lack the compassion to be kind to him, then they have gone into the WRONG profession. I would complain to a department head. Who knows what else they are doing to your husband. These people are in charge of his health care, and if they have such strong personal feelings about him.. well it's a little scary to think of them holding his life in their incapable, snooty little hands. Two nurses were fired at Sacred Heart (my local hospital) for calling a patient a "bitch" while in the elevator... they were with the girl's mother. Complain!!!

Tell your husband to stop being such an asshole to the nurses. We don't call people names for no reason!
