Today, I went to my doctor to get my x-ray results. Turns out, I have a fractured spine and a chip of my spine has moved. Now I'm in a neck brace because my dad didn't think it was serious, and told me to "suck it up princess." FML

Why do parents always assume when their child is complaining of pain (constantly most likely in this sort of case) that they think they're full of total bullshit? Do they really want to cripple their kids?

I broke both my wrists when I was 10 and my parents didn't believe me, I broke them in the afternoon and I didn't get them in casts until 4 am; it happens

Just because the person can get their parents in trouble doesn't mean they are going to. They are their parents and there is something (for most people) that keeps them from doing that.

FYL, OP, that totally ******* sucks. My friend had something like this happen...she was at a concert and someone stomped on her foot. It was horribly swollen and bruised and extremely painful, but her dad just said "Oh it's a sprain, you'll be fine, walk it off." Turns out a couple bones in the foot had been -crushed- and now she's facing multiple surgeries and lots of physical therapy because it took two months for her to convince her dad to take her to the Doc.

This happened to me, but it was the doctors at fault, they thought I just had whiplash, turns out I got whip lash, 15 degree tilt on my spine, 2 cracked ribs and 3 cracked and flattened vertibre, been off school for 5 months and i have to re-do my school year. This was my third back injury. :@ I feel your pain as I have been wearing a neck brace for 5 months! Hope everything goes well!

okay, okay. so the other day im walking around and BAM some llama just walks in on me and steps on my foot and im like.. "wtf! u retarded llama, u stepped on my f**king foot!" and the llama was tottally like "suck it up princess" and walked away. turns out this llama was pretty heavy and my whole foot has been smash into pieces. bro, i feel ya pain but anyone who says ydi is fkin retarded! lmao! now im just bored so i will write one more sentance: llamas are very heavy, they also have one of the largest dicks for a land animal :O bye, i hope u dont suffer any permanant dmg :)
