Today, I went to my orthodontist where I was informed that I'll going to the prom, to my brother's wedding, and maybe to university with braces in my mouth. FML

Having braces doesnt suck.. its normal. But what is GOING to suck is actually wearing them. It HURTS like hell .. your lips get BROKEN inside the mouth. The pain lasts for a week. And then every time u meet orthodontist (every month) its going to hurt AGAIN .. for some days. .. I have braces :D

Hardly an FML.. Lots of people have braces! I anyone will notice them - unless they're gigantic ;)

i can honestly say this is the worst FML i've seen. they're braces. yeah, they suck, but its not bad enough to say f my life over.

So you are gonna have straight healthy teeth for the next 50 years or so. Sad for you that you have access to health care.Many people would not be able to afford that and would have bad teeth all their lives. So sad you are not poor or living where there are no dentists. You are a whining little piece of crap and a living, breathing insult to underprivileged kids everywhere. Take one minute from your selfish, pathetic existence and compare braces to a wheelchair or hospital bed then hide your whining, shiny face in shame.

I have had braces for 4 years of my highschool life. I get them out after June 20th which means after grad. I feel your pain!!! I was suppose to have mine out in February but it is now June. definatley sucks OP
