Today, I went to school without any makeup on. The guys who usually compliment me for being pretty are now calling me "The Greatest Illusion Ever". FML

If it takes you hours to do your makeup you're doing it wrong. Takes me less than 15 minutes to do my daytime makeup.

That's the whole point of makeup though, to create an illusion that enhances your natural beauty, though some people go too far with it to overcompensate for their flaws. Doesn't matter either way OP, you just look the way you want to look and that should be good enough for anybody.

Maybe it's a case that wearing make up makes her more confident, even if it seems she could be wearing a lot. I don't wear heavy makeup daily. A little bit of foundation and mascara will do me fine but even then I feel different than if I was to go without. I really do take my hat off to girls who feel confident enough to go without make up.
