Today, I went to the airport for my two week trip to explore Europe. My ticket was denied and the workers turned me away. When I asked why, they told me to check the date. My ticket was for June 22nd, not July. FML

They didn't deny her anything. She paid for a flight on June 22, and she didn't show up for it. It's her own damn fault.

The same thing happened to me. I managed to still get a ticket though, and I left before the return trip, so we got a refund for the return trip. But we still lost a couple thousand dollars, because it was for 4 people. I'm so sorry, it made us feel so stupid when we found out. I wasn't in charge of the booking, but my parents were.

I actually sympathize cause I've done that. I made a phone booking and the person who took it down put in the wrong month I think it was may versus April. luckily I realized a few days before. that sucks though.

aww. .. that recently happened to my friend flying back home from Jamaica.. Her flight was @ 12am on Monday and I guess she had midnight in her head so she showed up to the airport monday night not realizing she should have been at the airport on Sunday night... her mistake is a little more forgivable than yours.. but total FML anywayz =(
