Today, I went to my gyn to see what a painful lump is under my armpit. Turns out it's breast tissue, and yes, it will fill up with milk when I'm pregnant. I essentially have three boobs. FML

Today, I found out that I have testicular cancer for the second time in two years, and they may end up removing my last testicle. Knowing full well I was also born with an extra rib, the doctor at the consultation joked, "Hey, you'll be three quarters of the way to being a woman." FML

Today, I went to the doctor for a suspicious lump under my armpit, so he suggested a breast examination. While pressing all over them he said, "We're gonna have to send you for an X-ray because you have the most lumpy breasts I've ever felt in my life." FML

I went through the process of creating an account to respond to this. Lots of people (apparently 1 in 10) have "supernumerary nipples", or extra nipples. I have one too, towards the bottom of one of my breasts. A year or two ago, I noticed a lump underneath it. Of course I freaked out, thinking it was breast cancer. I, too, found out it was just a boob. Here's the thing, though, for those of you freaking out: it's not even noticeable. Nobody I've dated has ever even noticed the nipple, let alone set to feeling around to see if there was something underneath it. I'm assuming that the OP's isn't all that noticeable, either, or she would have realized what it actually was rather than thinking it was cancer. It takes a bit to get over the idea, but once you do, you realize it's really nothing at all to be concerned about. Nobody will even know unless you want them to.
